Treasure Isle Quest: Build A Garden

There is an old saying, when you want to be a great Treasure Hunter, all you need is more energy. By building yourself another Small Garden, you will be able to grow more fruit! And this is just the Quest for you to get that extra Small Garden in your home island!

There are 3 Tasks to this Quest and it is basically the laying of the foundation and getting ready the land for the extra Small Garden.
1) Buy a Plough
Treasure Isle Tips – To buy the Plough, you will need 500 Coins and you can get it from Store –> Decorations
2) Dig 100 times on any Island
3) Get Some Field Hands
Isn’t this simple? Do you think this is all you have to do to get a Small Garden? Guess again … As it says, this is just the beginning. Ladies and gentlemen, start your engine!

Treasure Isle Quest: Turkey Tots

Another late post from me on the Thanksgiving in Treasure Isle and this is called the Turkey Tots. Thanksgiving is all about the Turkey or was it so? The main idea of this Quest is to hide the Turkey Tots with the autumn leaves and remove it from visibility, just so that they do not end up on the dining table.
1) Disguise the Turkey Tots
2) Collect Cranberries
3) Purchase a Plough for your home island
My reward for completing this in Bronze timing is 240 Coins + 16 XP .

Treasure Isle Quest: Crafty Cornucopias

This might come a little late since Thanksgiving is already over and this Quest is about the Thanksgiving dinner. But I had an awesome reasoning as I was concentrating on finishing that Thanksgiving Sweepstake which will be ending soon. Anyway, this Crafty Cornucopias needs you to:
1) Collect Cornucopias
2) Complete the Season Spices Collection
3) Purchase two fall trees
Treasure Isle Tips – Get the fall trees from the Store –> Trees

My reward for completing this Quest in Gold timing, 1,700 Coins + 70 XP !

Treasure Isle Black Friday Super Sale: Collect balloons for nifty in-game items

Black Friday -- the biggest shopping day of the year -- has arrived and while people are busting down doors in real-life stores for crazy deals, you can do the same in several of your favorite Facebook games including Treasure Isle.

Instead of just offering a straight up discount on virtual items, TI has turned the whole Black Friday experience into a mini-game. Collect black balloons from friends and then trade them in for in-demand items, like, for instance, an extra garden plot, which normally cost 100 Island Cash (roughly $20). So -- all in all -- begging friends for balloons can be worth your while. (On that note, if any of you would like to send me a black balloon, I'd certainly be tickled pink).

If you're a double dipper, like myself, and also play FarmVille, you'll be more than familiar with Treasure Isle's Black Friday mini-game. Yes, you'll have to kneel on bended knee and ask friends to gift you black balloons (or if you don't like to beg, you can buy balloons using Island Cash). Once you've collected a certain number of balloons, you'll be able to trade them in for rare items. As I mentioned above, I say the Garden Plot is the must-have item (and the Fail Whale seems like the must-have decoration, just for the LOLs). Either way, here's a complete trade-in list below:

3 Black Balloons: Coffee Tray (Decoration)
13 Black Balloons: Raccoon Table
30 Black Balloons: Big Barn
56 Black Balloons: Fail Whale
60 Black Balloons: Swan Boat
100 Black Balloons: Garden Plot
There's also a gift stand part of this BF promotion, place it on your island, and as you collect more balloons the stand will grow more ornate. There was a glitch placing the stand this morning -- the pop-up window below prompted me to place my stand, but then there was no stand to be found. Not sure if many others are experiencing this -- if so, please sound off in the comments below. OK, I found my stand sitting right next to my Gem Mine, which is still under construction (see image below). Since my Treasure Isle island is littered with construction projects, it's hard to tell what's what. Or, maybe it's time to whip out the bifocals. Anyway...

Treasure Isle Thanksgiving Campaign: Everything you need to know

And just when you thought Zynga was going to forget about Thanksgiving in Treasure Isle, the team has decided to honor the original island hoppers with new quests, maps to explore and limited edition items. Up first is the setting of these new events, the Gravy Isles. Expiring in 21 days, the Gravy Isles include Forest Friends and Cranberry Fields first available with Festive Feast, Seasonal Squash and Corn Cobb Hill becoming available as you train your Turkey--but more on that later.

In Cranberry Fields and Forest Friends, you'll be presented with your first quest, "Turkey Tots":

  • Find and Disguise 10 Turkey Tots
  • Collect 25 Cranberries
  • Buy one Plough from the Market (500 coins)

Completing this mission within 12 hours will score players the Gold Prize of 600 coins and 40 XP. Return to your home island for yet another mission that you'll find more about behind the break.
Once you touch down on your home island, you'll find a nice and plump turkey either sitting on your beach or inside your backpack. While it certainly is tempting to just throw him on the spit and get to cooking, there's work to be done. Like the other pathetic animals that seem to gravitate towards your island, you'll have to bring him back to greatness by asking your friends for help or paying up in Island Cash. It's only then that you'll be to embark on the ultimate Thanksgiving quest, exploring the three remaining islands for more treasure. To help your friends in their exploration, Cranberry Sauce--a food good for 15 Energy--is giftable for free.
Return home once more to prepare for the most amazing Thanksgiving feast ever seen. Operating much like the Pumpkin Basket during Halloween, buy or collect RSVPs by asking friends to fill your banquet table. The more RSVPs you collect, the better items you can buy to complete the meal. There is also a long list of Thanksgiving items available in the Market like Cranberry Truck, which for 40 Island Cash will give you 10 extra backpack spaces. For even more backpack space, the Big Barn will give the same as the truck for the same exact price. The rest of the items available include:

  • Orange and Yellow Maple Trees: 250 coins each
  • Cranberry Crate: 100 coins
  • Plough: 500 coins
  • Cornstalks: 200 coins
  • Squirrel Table: 10,000 coins
  • Small Squash: 100 coins
  • Wooden Fence: 100 coins

With this many things to do in Treasure Isle, you might be island hopping right until it's time for dinner this Thursday. Check out the forums for more details on these events and do remember not to get too wrapped up in the islands. This is a holiday about eating, you know.
